All About The Slimming World Diet
Slimming World encourages the swapping of high-fat foods for low-fat foods that are more filling. There’s no calorie counting, no foods are banned, and you’re still allowed the occasional treat.
Foods are broken down into 5 sections
Free foods (Eat as much as you want until you are full of Vegetables, Fruits, Pasta, Rice, Lean meats, Beans etc)
Speed Foods (Fill a 1/3 of your plate during every meal of Speed Vegetables or Fruit)
Healthy Extra A (A portion of dairy per day)
Healthy Extra B (A portion of fibre per day)
Syns (You can eat a certain amount of syns per day, use these for the naughty extras)
You fill up and beat the hunger but eating free and speed foods.. you use your Healthy Extras in things like tea and coffee or for a sandwich. The suggestion is unto 15 Syns per day but it seems the average is around 10.
How Much Will It Cost Me?
A weekly meeting will cost you £4.95 per week (there are bulk buy options saving you £0.50 per week)

Do I Have To Buy Any Special Equipment Or Foods?

There is no special foods to purchase, however they do sell some of their own range food at Iceland or from your group leader. But you can go it alone with the regular supermarket foods you always purchase.
